Jen Burke

Jen Burke joins the Leadership Programs as a visual designer with a background in access and inclusion in the arts and education. She has a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Design from UC Berkeley. Her professional experience spans work in identity, visual systems, interface design, environmental signage, instructional design, and book publishing — including more than 15 years in her own practice under the name of Industry. She serves as a volunteer on the board of Friends of Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, championing arts-based education as a research-proven model that fosters diversity, innovation, and cognition across all subjects. In her spare time, she is an award-winning amateur recipe developer whose family is often subject to dining on failed experiments.
