Diana Garcia, a Chicago native, spent much of her formative years in Arizona, where her belief in education's power to promote equity took root. With a background in communications and marketing, including roles at Google and an EdTech Startup, she joined UC Berkeley to advance educational advocacy. Diana's expertise encompasses communications strategy development, fostering partnerships, and crafting engaging content for high impact.
Diana currently resides in Oakland, where she enjoys hiking, cooking authentic Mexican cuisine, and embarking on road trips to explore the richness of California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brown University and recently earned a Master's in Public Policy from UCLA, focusing on education policy.
