Janine Marcoux joins the 21CSLA State Center as a UTK Trainer with over 15 years of experience as a teacher, instructional coach, and school leader in P-3 education. Most recently, she served as Director of Early Childhood Education for a school district in Sacramento leading early learning contracts, grants, and TK expansion. In addition to holding a M.Ed in Elementary Education, Janine received her M.A. in Educational Leadership and administrative credential from UC Berkeley’s Principal Leadership Institute. She is excited to join the UTK team and is deeply committed to equity, inclusion, and belonging to reimagine educational systems, foster accessible early childhood education, and support transformative change in our schools and communities.
