June 13–14, 2024, Hotel Shattuck Plaza, Berkeley, CA

The Leading for Justice Summit is a space for you to reflect and illuminate your path toward realizing justice as you investigate the power and potential of community leadership. You’ll hear Bay Area young people share what they most want us to understand about their experiences in our schools. You’ll also hear lessons learned from a panel of school leaders who have done extraordinary work as community leaders.

Breakout sessions will focus on building resilient, thriving teams; classroom-based learning that engages young people in meaningful work in their communities; and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to plan based on your learning with a 21CSLA leadership coach.

Join in provocative and collaborative discussions with leaders from across the Bay Area, and walk away with renewed capacity and energy for creating change.

Site leaders, teacher leaders, and district leaders are encouraged to attend this no-cost event, brought to you by the 21CSLA Bay Area Regional Academy. Bring a team!

Over the course of the two day summit, participants will:

  • Reflect on what it means to be a community leader in your own context
  • Identify specific ways to grow as a community leader and your specific goals
  • Discover ways to enhance current initiatives through greater community engagement
