Adrianna Jeanpierre

Adrianna Jeanpierre is a candidate in cohort 24 for the Masters in Educational Leadership at the Principal Leadership Institute.

Adrianna currently works as a school psychologist in West Contra Costa Unified School District with 14 years of experience. She has worked in the same capacity serving in Oakland Unified School District for the first 3 years of her career. She has supported students, colleagues, and staff in various ways via cultural responsiveness training and race & equity work, and most recently supported her district psychology department as co-lead for the past three years. Prior to her journey as a school psychologist, she worked as a supervising mentor/tutor in an after-school program in Oakland. Her work is inspired by her own educational experiences, experiences in working in urban school districts, and hopes of building more equitable educational outcomes for the Black community. Outside of her work in the K-12 public school system, Adrianna teaches at San Francisco State University in the School Psychology graduate program.

Adrianna is originally from Modesto, California and is a first-generation college student. She began her higher educational career at Modesto Junior College prior to transferring to San Francisco State University for undergrad (Bachelor of Arts, Psychology) and grad school (Master of Science, School Psychology). Outside of working, teaching and studying, Adrianna can be found exploring new businesses and restaurants in Oakland or other parts of the Bay Area, crocheting, spending time with friends and family, and listening to music.
