Dr. Crovetti is a licensed psychologist and certificated school psychologist who has worked in California public schools for nearly 30 years. Many of these years were spent conducting psychological evaluations in under-resourced urban schools with students from historically disenfranchised and underprivileged groups. Currently she serves as clinical supervisor and training director at a public high school-based mental health wellness center. In private practice she conducts neuropsychological assessments with adolescents and adults involved in the criminal justice system as well as with private clients who may need an assessment for various reasons. She has testified as an expert witness in competency hearings and in capital and non-capital trials. Dr. Crovetti has served for almost 15 years as clinical faculty in UC Berkeley’s School Psychology Graduate Program, where she supervises graduate students and teaches courses on current research and theories in developmental psychopathology, adolescent development, law and ethics for psychologists, and mental health interventions for children and adolescents.
