Improvement in Action: Reducing Suspensions for African American/Black Students Networked Improvement Community

Is your school district, charter school, county program, or school site interested in investigating the progress of African American/Black (AA/B) students and collaborating for positive outcomes?

Teams will:

  • Hear from leaders who have successfully initiated systems improvement in developing a culture of belonging for AA/B students and families
  • Investigate an area of focus regarding AA/B student success aligned with the CA School Dashboard and local data
  • Collaborate to create an Action Plan and align with LCAP or school site plans
  • Network with teams throughout the Bay Area involved in the work
  • Collaborate with a coach through guided team time

Cost

21CSLA programs are no cost to participants employed in Title II districts and schools in six Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Solano.
