With a distinguished 28-year career in education, Veronica Valerio is a dedicated leader championing academic excellence and the holistic development of all students from TK - 12th grade from Los Angeles to the Bay Area. Her journey includes over a decade of leadership experience as a Spanish bilingual teacher, Literacy Coach, Vice Principal, Principal and in director-level roles within diverse school districts and county offices.
Veronica’s expertise in multilingual and Special Education programs, reflects her unwavering commitment to accelerating outcomes for all learners. She has a proven track record of leadership coaching and professional development, implementing data-driven strategies to improve teaching and learning. She is highly skilled at restorative justice practices, event planning and project management, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external community partners at the district, county and statewide level. As a first generation, daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, with a deep understanding of culturally responsive practices and equity, she is committed to advancing anti-bias, anti-racist practices and dismantling racism within educational settings. Veronica is committed to student success, preparing students for college and career readiness with the skills and competency to lead their communities in a multilingual, global society.
